In the 90’s Hatteras first introduced the 54 Convertible with a drastic departure from their traditional concave hull design to the new convex hull design. The 54 Convertible is built on a modified-V hull design with a wide comfortable 17’ 4” beam. The popular 3 stateroom 2 head layout made the Hatteras 54 Convertible most desirable in her class. “FATSO” is the most unique Hatteras 54 ever built for the one simple fact, one of the previous owners removed the Detroit Diesels and repowered with the more efficient MAN 12 Cylinder D2842LE406.
